Boat tour around Elafiti Islands
Dubrovnik...! Wow:) What an unbelievable city! We did an 8 hour boat cruise, skipper, drinks, fuel included! Robert and Slavko (son and father) were nothing short of amazing and made our day/trip! We did not want to get off the boat. They are so informed and showed us a time we will not forget. Each island got better and better, and we found ourselves speechless at the beauty. When making your trip to Dubrovnik, you MUST see it from the water and you MUST do it with these gentlemen/company! Thank you for a wonderful time Robert and Slavko.

Great day! Highly recommended A+
We hired the Fairline Phantom 40. We were two adults and two teenagers. There was plenty of liaison before hand via email to confirm the details. Our skipper was immensely experienced having commanded the police launch and been a merchant seaman for more than half his life and was born and raised in Dubrovnik. We had a chat about what we liked to do and what we wanted to get out of the day. He offered several suggestions and options for us. The agreed itinerary took us to exactly the types of places we wanted to go to and avoided any crowded areas. E.g. even a visit to the most popular spot, the Blue Cave, was timed to be at a time when the fewest visitors were there. The crew member Robert had excellent English and told us whatever we wanted to know about the history of the areas we were passing through. Inevitably conversation does touch on the war but only when we asked. There were masks, snorkels, fins, paddle board, lilos and towels on board. All we had to do was turn up, relax and enjoy the day. We stopped for swims at the times and places we’d discussed and none were busy. Beers and soft drinks were included and there was a very well stocked bar, although we didn’t enquirer how the pricing worked. The boat was very attractive and did make us feel a little special when we arrived at a stop. Lunch was at a lovely restaurant a few centimetres from the water’s edge. Nothing seemed like too much trouble and we ALL had a fantastic day in beautifully fitted boat. There was a fresh water shower at the stern so you could get the salt off before lunch and change before you left the boat. It may seem expensive, but it was the most enjoyable and memorable day of our visit to Dubrovnik. Would we do it again? YES.

Day trip

A great day out. Our group consisted of 3 families, 9 people in total with three children (6,3 and 2 years old). We hired the 40 foot Fairline which had plenty of space for all. The Skipper took into account the fact that we had young children and scheduled the trip accordingly. We had plenty of time to swim, explore some of the islands and visit the blue cave which was the highlight for the 6 and 3 year olds! The skipper Slavko and Robbie were great hosts and provided lots of interesting facts between the different stops. Would highly recommend. J.Saward

Brilliant day out

What a great day out! We hired the boat for 8 hours and had Branko as our skipper and Robert as our guide. We took a picnic and plenty of drinks were provided. We had the best day ever! You can choose what you want to do and where you want to go but Robert will guide you. We wanted to swim in the sea as much as possible so we did plenty of swimming stops! Robert gave us a paddle board to play with in the sea and snorkels. We wanted to see the Blue Cave and swim in it so Robert suggested we went on the way back because it would be less busy. The cave is not to be missed! We sailed around the islands and stopped at one to have a small walk and get ice cream. Robert is very knowledgable and told us loads of information. We felt very lucky to have the boat to ourselves and it was a brilliant way to see the breathtaking scenery around Dubrovnik and the islands. Thank you for a great day.

Exceptional experience in fabulous locations of Elaphiti Islands

From the moment we booked two quicksilver speedboats for our gruop of five adults and five children, everything was just superb. The details of out trip were carefully designed with lots of attention towards our desires, wants and needs.
After being taken to the port, we met our skippers Maro and Josko, who went out of their way to make our journey to Elaphiti Islands as incredible as we couldn't have had expected.
They suggested more than enough outstanding locations, adding extra value to our journey and being absolutely on top with everything we might need. Super-helpful throughout the day, joyful and attentive, playing with the children, they exceeded all our expectations.
We can't thank enough for the whole experience with DBC, just must say - must try!

Fantastic Day out in the Islands

A must if in Croatia. We chartered a yacht for a day from DBC and had a very enjoyable experience. Good communication beforehand from Marijana. Yacht arrive on time at prearranged harbour. Discussed what we wanted. All our needs accommodated. Booked a nice lunch for as at Lopud, snorkelling, swimming at the beach. Unfortunately weather conditions did not permit a visit to the blue caves. Headed to View the old town walls from the sea in the evening. Highly recommended must do if in Croatia.

Highly recommended. A must!

Thank you so much for a totally excellent day.
Marijana was excellent answering my questions and providing me with superb information prior to booking.
We hired the fairline phantom 40 for the day as a party of five adults and 21 month old. Everything about the day was brilliant .We were met from our apartment and driven to the port. The crew Slavko and Robert were great .They rang ahead to book a restaurant for lunch whilst we got on with enjoying ourselves. We visited the blue cave and 3 islands and there was ample time for swimming and relaxing . The boat was fabulous .Towels and masks wine beer soft drinks and crisps all supplied.
I had previously been on a 3 island tour in Oct 2017 and although it was good you really do get what you pay for...the boat was old and small and too many people drinking too much ,plus you are on a schedule . Splashing out on a private boat tour gives you privacy and freedom to explore in a much more relaxing way. We swam several times in the crystal clear waters admiring the fantastic views.
We chose the phantom 40 as we felt it was safer for children .It was bigger and more expensive but can take up to 12 people so if you share the cost it is a taste of affordable luxury .
Just wish we had the boat for 2 days as it absolutely was the highlight of our holiday.

Best. Trip. Ever.
If you're going to Croatia (which you should) and plan to spend some time visiting the islands (which you should), look no further than Dubrovnik Boat Charter. These guys are the best of the best. You're in for an incredible experience and plenty of fun, plus exceptional communication and very reasonable pricing. I've been to Croatia twice before, so I had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for, and I researched several companies while looking to charter a boat, plus reached out to some local friends. DBC was the best option without a doubt.

This visit to Croatia was extra special. I came with 10 of my boarding school girlfriends to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We rented a vacation home in Mlini for a week and then arranged 2 separate boat charters—one to explore the Elaphite islands, and the other to another side of Sipan and also Mljet. I made all the arrangements in advance with Marijana in the office, who was incredibly helpful. We had a huge chain of emails back and forth, as I had many questions—all of which she answered, advising me and making very helpful suggestions. For our trips, we were so lucky to have Silvio and Branko as our crew. We immediately hit it off with them and they made the trips better than we could have imagined. We wanted to go to off-the-beaten-path spots and avoid the typical touristy places, and they customized the trips for us by taking us to such special locations for swimming, snorkeling, sunning, and eating. On the 2nd day, Silvio even called in advance and had an amazing lunch organized for us, so that we didn't have to spend too much time at the restaurant and could spend more time swimming instead. (Everyone agreed it was the best meal of the whole trip.) Silvio shared a great deal of history and information about Croatia with us, showing us all his favorite spots. He even serenaded us with a traditional song on his father's guitar when we had lunch in the small village where his family lives. We all said that on day one of our boat charters, we were spoiled; on day two, we were spoiled rotten! It was the most magical 2 days of our week in Croatia, and an experience that none of us will ever forget! Thank you Silvio, Branko, Marijana, and the entire DBC organization!

Experiencing Dubrovnik and its' islands from a boat - simply a must!

The best! We chartered a Quicksilver Activ 675 Sundeck for an 8 hour day trip with Dubrovnik Boat Charter (you can choose from a 4, 6 or 8 hour charter). Got picked up at our hotel by a professional driver with a nice clean car who brought us to the marina, where we were greeted by our skipper Josko and off we went to see the beautiful Dubrovnik from the water. We sailed from the marina to the city walls of Dubrovnik and then landed at the Lokrum island and went to see the former Benedictine monastery, botanical garden and the Fort Royal Castle. From Lokrum we visited a few small islands and landed at Lopud island for a fantastic ocean side lunch. Fresh catch of the day, prepared by a Michelin star chef, paired with an excellent local white vine right on the beach - it could have not been better. After the lunch at Lopud we sailed to Koločep island, where we bought some famous local products (tasty marmalade, smoked figs, orange and lemon peel coated in sugar) handmade and produced only from ingredients grown on Koločep island. Because we did our boat trip early in the season it was too cold to swim in the ocean for us yet, but during a warm weather there would have been plenty of opportunities to jump in from the boat or to dock at a small secluded island beach. We let our skipper Josko guide us to destinations but we also had a lot of flexibility and we were able to tell him what we wanted to do or see and he made it happen. Josko spoke English quite well, was very professional and knowledgeable and told us a lot about local places, Dubrovnik’s history and local life. Towels and cold drinks were provided. We had a wonderful time and felt it was well worth the money. If you are looking for a personalised boat charter while in Dubrovnik then go with Dubrovnik Boat Charter - we highly recommend them. “Hvala” Josko and Dubrovnik Boat Charter Team! Hope to sail with you again sometimes.
